i just wanna tie a lil' ribbon onto daryl palumbo and take him home w/ me

soooo happy right now. just got back from the ottobar in baltimore. cippy and i totally rocked out to head automatica. amazingly rockin' dance happy time. at first, we turned the corner after parking the car and there was this huge line. so we're wait wait waiting and then we almost get to the door when one of the bouncer guys yells out, "everyone who doesn't already have a ticket, the show is sold out!" and i am currently kicking myself in the ass b/c i knew, just KNEW that it would freakishly sell out and that we shoulda bought tickets online ahead of time. so christine and i are tres bummed, then we walk around to the front where these other girls are chillen by the door, trying to bribe rob the redheaded bouncer. and then we come along, prepared to do whatever it takes to see head automatica, after both of us previously missing them play, and offer money or boobs. luckily he finally accepted the money and snuck us in for $20 each. so finally we're in, and it's a good deal. tickets would have been $12, or if we got 'em online a little more, so it wasn't too bad. stood around and listened to emmanuel play, then head automatica! so amazing! daryl is so cute and tiny! such a good voice, and stage presence. they were all so cute, all of 'em in suits. so then afterwards we both got posters and i got a cool shirt and we went outside to try and stalk their bus. and sure enough! first out comes craig and "jarvis" and we chat it up (craig was very nice by the way!) and get them to sign our posters. it was funny, the posters we got are all hand screen-printed so they're all different and he was like "hey, i made those! here, i'll even number them for you" so yes, very awesome. then daryl appears out of nowhere and i just kinda like gasp and then he totally caught me and looked over and i had a huge grin and then he signed our posters too and chatted it up. yay! what a nice band. kudos to corrupted ottobar bouncers. yay.
