happy birthday to me!

aw! i'm so happy right now! (and awake). awake? gabs gave me a birthday call at like 9a which was ok since i have to be awake anyway since to read a book and write a paper for writing tomorrow (extreme suckitude). but yeah! i have to say birthday phone calls are almost as good as if not better than drunk dials. sooo happy. last night i got a call from some hardcore kids i met on facebook--seriously the nicest message ever! i have to credit the many wonders of facebook.. making birthdays happy again! haha. i felt so loved last night w/ all the flint 4A crew. i have to admit i was gettin' a lil bit of cabin fever being on the mount all day yesterday and i was gettin' all depressed but then they turned it all around! whoo! yay for massive amounts of cookies and a milkshake! i'm really excited to wear the kickass scarf christa crocheted for me, it's all happy cuz its hot pink, yellow and black square-y thingies (so awesome) and plus! it's so great cuz i love knitting scarves to give people and now i can finally say it's great receiving a hand-knit/crocheted scarf. it's completing the cycle.. i'm gonna keep knitting scarves cuz the whole cycleness is awesome. haha, wow that made no sense. aw, i love 4A-ers!
anyways. this whole weekend was definitely REALLY REALLY REALLY fun. even though before i was a little bummed cuz gabs and tine and zak couldn't make it up for the weekend, it's ok cuz it ended up being an awesome time. plus chris had some of his friends from home to make up for it :-P
thursday, went to see a movie + a short by the supposed "canadian david lynch." it was really stoney, or perhaps trippy, but nonetheless craaaazy. and then had a lovely experience in chris' room involving some meditational herbs.. (salvia). nothing really happened to me, it just felt like i was in a bubble and the walls of the bubble had images of everyone staring at me and they were palpitating in and out of focus and my arms were chopped up into tons of little arms that i couldn't move, but christa! and natalie! man were they funny. so yeah that was that night.
friday i don't have class (since my schedule fuckin' rocks my pants off) and so pretty much that day was spend lazing around.. went down to marshall street to price my tattoo at halo amongst other things and then came back up to the mount for some more craziness. ended up going out and drunkenly dancing the night away. i have a new found love for the song "sandstorm" haha. i mean it's always been a good song.. then it's in DDR (best game ever) and then it brings back memories of tremblant and all the random british dudes, and just all in all good memories! moira and i had a blast making sandwiches and wearing sunglasses, i must say the most fun ever doing those two things... good night.
saturday was round 2 of goodness. got my tattoo at halo by dj. it's a stylized infinity symbol that's all colorful-y and actually also looks like it could be an "S" which is ok since my name is sara. for some reason it hurt a lot more than my other 2 and bled a whole whole lot. and now it's just kinda gunky. i love it though. and i really like halo. so later we went out and had some more flint 4A lovin'. i had a lot of fun. talked to a shitload of random people. it was really fun times. el presidente and all..
which brings us back around to sunday and then today! i am very happy right now, so yay! but alas, mary of magdala awaits. karen king is trying to seduce me into reading her VERY VERY interesting academic "novel" (which actually reads more like a super-absorbing, engaging, amazing textbook) and i really want to read it right now.

...................not! haha i think i will go drip my sarcasm somewhere else. toodles for now!
