ode to timearts
o timearts, how i love thee, you fill my heart with joy on this glorious day of saint valentine!
here is a token of my love. i made it special, just for you!
i love this class, the time--it just flies by! our great knowledgeable professor, sir tim, he is so smart!
alas, he has but a stub for an index finger.
ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE... i have currently reached a state of extreme boredom. time arts class actually really sucks.
i had another great weekend. (see moira's pictures for details). went into work still drunk for the first time ever! needless to say, i think that day will go down in history as one of the most fun work experiences ever. sorority girl bid day that day, it was craziness! absolute craziness! i love them. oh how they amuse me so.
happy valentine's day! i had a good one.
yay.
i can't stop listening to "lucky" (radiohead):
I'm on a roll,
I'm on a roll this time
I feel my luck could change.
Kill me Sara(h),
kill me again with love,
it's gonna be a glorious day.
Pull me out of the aircrash,
Pull me out of the lake,
I'm your superhero,
we are standing on the edge.
The head of state has called for me by name
but I don't have time for him.
It's gonna be a glorious day!
I feel my luck could change.
Pull me out of the aircrash,
Pull me out of the lake,
I'm your superhero,
we are standing on the edge.
We are standing on the edge
for some reason, it just speaks to me!! haha. i swear i have listened to it like 10 times last night and today. i will probably get sick of it soon. but it is just so brilliant! each day, i swear, (ssh never thought i'd say this) but i am starting to have faith in humanity again. OH MY GOD, THE ABOMINATION! i fear it is a fleeting feeling of naiveté, but i'd like to believe that the world isn't all that bad. i'm reading, "we wish to inform you that tomorrow we will be killed with our families: stories from rwanda" by philip gourevitch, the copy that poet michael gave me. talented writer, this philip kid is. wish i were in michael's writing 205 class. sure beats marc tomorrow at 9:30am.. but yeah. do not be swayed by the title! it is interesting stuff! as well as my first issue of readymade magazine i received today :-)
yay again.
