i'll be honest..

i'm feeling a tid bit antsy to get the hell outta syracuse. a little bit annoyed w/ people in general and schoolwork and work work. think a little change in scenery would do me good. some quality time w/ friends and family is in order. i really miss my gabs and tine and my mom (oh my!). mostly i miss her cooking. yup. so next year christa and i are living in day hall 201. WOOT! haha. i guess home is the mount for me again.

got a few things to look forward to before going home though. the fashion show! for one. snoop doggy dogg. for two. no more classes! for three.

things i'm not looking forward to: the rest of this week. all the bullshit work i must do. final crits. more suoc turmoil. packing. saying goodbye..

oh my. can't believe it's almost the weekend and i feel like last weekend just ended! i had a bunch of fun hassling bad-mood-christa and making her go on classy champagne and strawberry picnics and camping. no honestly, it's been so beautiful outside lately!! yesterday it rained and even that was okay cuz it was warm rain and it was actually nice walking home in it. but yeah, had a nice picnic at pratts waterfalls then dinner at alto cinco's and then randomly camping in ithaca. ithaca really IS gorges! so pretty! when we got there it was like 11pm, and everything was dark but still lit by the moon so we couldn't really see anything, but in the morning it was tres pretty! good times around the campfire drinkin' good ol' loveshakes. then i had my 2 prospective multicultural students i was hosting, which i must say are two very good girls! just wait til' they get to college.. muwahahaha.. the corruption. anyways. what a pretty week too! good time for tanning.. with ski goggles and accessories. yup. so here's my schedule for next semester:

i know, EXCITING scheduling. actually i am pretty excited. kinda sad i didn't get into photo thu morning's as i wanted, but apparently a lot of people didn't even get into photo! so HAHA. okeys. well i think i'll go back to working on my time machine. slow time down! gosh.

haven't written here in awhile.. this weekend was chris and christa's "wedding," which was definitely memorable. wish i could have stayed longer and witnessed more mayhem, but i had to be a good girlfriend and take care of sick steve on his birthday :-( poor kid!
gosh, today i pretty much stayed in bed and read the course catalog over and over again, picking classes, until i had to get my butt to work, i mean hell. i really like how today we closed and still had absolutely NOTHING done. no pre-close dishes, no pastries put away, no urns cleaned, no nothing! it was crazy. i was only scheduled until 10:30p, but i stayed an extra hour b/c i felt bad. when i left at 11:30, things weren't even close to being done. it puts all the times i ever complained about work to shame. the state of the store today.. definitely a kodak moment. plus, i really think my manager is out to get me. for some reason she really doesn't like me. wants to get me fired! last time i worked, there was a broken rice crispy treat and i was like, "jenn wanna save that broken one for me?" so she did, and it was my dinner. it was broken, so we're supposed to mark them out b/c they're unsellable, but then later she's like "sara don't forget to pay for your treat." and i was like ??? hmm, okayyyy... and didn't make anything of it. then work was crazy as it always is, and i left and completely forgot to pay the $1.05 for the freaking pastry. then today! as we were closing, meri was like "so did you ever pay for that rice crispy treat the other day? jenn made me go into the computer and search for your transaction yesterday for like 10 minutes, in the middle of a huge rush." what the hell?!?! ridiculous. i'm really glad in the grand scheme of things, that one broken pastry i shouldn't have had to pay for in the first place is more important than scheduling enough people to work and getting the order right, so we're not out of lids and caramel and rags and all that nonsense that goes wrong in the store. what awesome priorities. i miss sky and my old store. it will be nice to go back this summer...
speaking of summer... it's fucking right around the corner. scary. i can't believe it. where the hell did the semester go?
i think i'm getting homesick again. though i don't really want to leave yet..
