dooot doot dooo....
so for some reason i cannot sleep! i guess that's what'll happen to ya when you take the 1am bus to rochester and stay up late, then go to bed at 10am a couple days later.. sooooo kinda had an unconventional thanksgiving this year.. broke out of the vargas-o'mahoney mold and spent it with steve's family! still kept the turkey day movie tradition. coaxed steve into seeing pride & prejudice w/ me at the little! i like that theater, it has yummy coffee and treats and all the indie films you could want! yayy. the week went by way too fast WAAAY too fast.. thought i'd get more done, but no!
however, i finally got a new cell phone and it's super high tech. it's all color and cameraphone zoomy and you can watch videos on it and it has bluetooth so i can go on the internet and have a crazy headset thing! now i just need to get the crazy headset thing and get the thing to put all my pictures on my computer.. o technology, so crazy.
finally bought a new jacket! worked hard this week and it's getting cold! finally i can be nice and cozy warm.
i love my steve :-) i had a good thanksgiving. i have to stop eating these yummy chocolates marguerite gave me in her care package! they make my heart beat really fast....i don't think that's a good thing..... tra la!

no turkey for meee

so my mother is a jerk and told me not to bother coming home for thanksgiving. that's okay cuz i enjoy going to syra-juice everyday and getting their vegan soup of the day and listening to songs on repeat curled up on the side of my bed that isn't taken over by crap. yupppppp

spooning my life away!

soooooooooo.. i've been really bad and not updated this thing in a super long time. almost 3 months! about a gazillion and a half things have happened since i got back to syracuse. basically i've been busy busy busy. now finally marching band is over and i just had my review in my industrial design classes today. it went very well! our professors are funny. apparently marguerite and i are like the yin and yang! :-)

been working my bum off at the 'schmucks.. we are currently undergoing new management and a renovated store (o my!) so it is extra chaotic on top of it's usual chaotic-ness. classes are good! except my philosophy class, b/c my professor is the most boring absent minded fanny pack wearing man i have ever met. steve comes to visit almost every weekend, so i am happy! can you believe it's registration for next semester already?! it'll be summer soon enough :-) 823 Ackerman next year! i will be housemates with my favorite birds, dave and marguerite! i am excited. sometimes that's all that gets me through the busy days.. the thought of summer soon(ish?).

anyways.. i will try to write more and not be a poop! but now i am going to celebrate being done w/ my review and enjoy my day off classes by catching up on homework and actually get a good night's sleep tonight!!

ps. i've seen a bunch of good movies lately! crash, heights, the constant gardener, mean creek! highly recommended. and i finally got around to listening to broken social scene and ze music ish just loverly!
